Is marine plywood rot-resistant? It has a waterproof glue line but timber can still decay if unprotected. Seal all faces and edges, particularly cut edges, and maintain the finish. 2. Can it be used indoors? Yes—excellent for bathrooms, utilities and kitchens where moisture is present. 3. Do I still need to paint it? For exterior or wet areas, yes. Use an appropriate primer/sealer and topcoats on every face and edge. 4. How does it differ from WBP exterior ply? Marine plywood uses higher-grade veneers and bonding standards for fewer core voids and better long-term performance in wet conditions.
